Edrington has had the pleasure of working with Ann over a number of years and across all of our Scottish sites, including Glasgow, Addiewell, Orkney and Speyside. Her work with us includes taking part in our Learning at Work festival and delivering fantastic sessions on mindfulness, grief, movement and sleep. All our employees, regardless of role or level, have benefitted from Ann’s sessions and she has greatly helped us promote our wellness agenda.
Ann’s delivery is warm and engaging and she can present complex topics in a meaningful way that positively impacts on the audience and leaves a lasting impression.
Ann has also provided support to our in-house occupational health team in dealing with some situations with our employees and this support has been invaluable. Her professional approach, wellness knowledge and calm manner would greatly benefit any company.
During the early stages of Covid-19, Ann from Lifestyle and Wellness Limited delivered a session for SPRING Social Prescribers on how best to support others during the pandemic. Ann provided some helpful tips on the evidence-based principles of CBT and how they can be applied in everyday life. The session helped our team to build and promote these approaches as part of our daily roles. Ann also focused on the importance of self-care and how we can proactively avoid burnout. A great informative session, we look forward to working with Ann again.

Ann was initially asked to deliver sessions to our company on ‘Introduction to Mindfulness’ which was so popular and the feedback from attendees was that ‘they wanted more’ - so we gave them more. Employees identified areas where they were having problems and Ann ran specific workshops on those topics. Her sessions on ‘Sleeping Better’ were extremely well run and attended plus in constant demand.
Ann knows her stuff and delivers it in a way where you feel she is just talking to you and not a whole class. Ann has also come on site at short notice to support employees when sadly we had some incidents.
I cannot recommend Ann and her subject matter enough. Taking care of employee’s wellbeing is crucial to a business and Ann can play a big part in that.
We invited Ann to contribute to a full day conference for doctors on self care and mindfulness. Based on feedback from that conference we asked her to develop and deliver half day, interactive seminars to help doctors build and strengthen their resilience, using techniques of mindfulness and CBT. These sessions have had wonderful feedback and we are re-running them due to high demand! It has been a great experience working with Ann, and we have appreciated her ability to adapt to different audiences.
I had the pleasure of working with Ann on a number of well-being awareness sessions, when I was working at Edrington distillers as an Occupational Health Nurse. Ann's sessions were not only well-received, but she managed to reach out to the employees, of seven sites across Scotland. I was particularly impressed with the way that Ann could manage and keep at times large audiences focused and win over employees who were perhaps not on the same page with regards to well-being activities.
Although I have started a new post in a different sector, it would be great to work with Ann again, and can thoroughly recommend her.
We were looking to explore ways of introducing tools for our employees that would help them to “Check In” prior to commencing work in particular when working on critical activities. Ann was able to demonstrate simple Cognitive Behavioural techniques that can be used to help individuals to instil a mindfulness approach that can support and prepare for a safe working environment.
As part of our health & safety week we wanted to focus on mental health & wellbeing. We invited Ann to come along to do an afternoon of mini practical workshops on self- care, self -aware. The sessions were all well attended & from the feedback from our staff, most people left the session with one or more tools that could possibly change the way they go through life ie responding more healthily to a particular situation. Ann helps you understand how to use simple tools and techniques in our everyday life that will improve and maintain your mental wellbeing. Lovely knowledgeable lady who has in that short time certainly changed my thought process for the better. Highly recommend!
